Pachena Bay Campground Temporary Closure

Please be advised that the Pachena Bay Campground and it facilities have been temporary closed to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. The campground will open when it has been deemed safe to do so.

With the Campground being closed entails there is currently no office staff available to answer questions or make reservations, for health and safety reasons. The Campground has also closed and locked the access gate through Pachena Bay (Anacla) route to the Campground. To ensure safety of the community there has been a volunteer citizen at the entrance to Pachena Bay (Anacla) community kindly informing those that their is currently no access to the surrounding communities or Campground.

For the public’s and citizens safety, all traffic through the Pachena Bay and Bamfield communities has been permitted to local access only. This decision was not made easily, keep in mind Bamfield does not have a large medical facility to safely accommodate large groups of people.

We are not accepting reservations requests at this moment, camping is not permitted at this time.

There will be an announcement made with further information on April 30th 2020.
